Bill Rizer, the hero of Contra, (C) Konami

I was especially pleased with this one. My non-gamer housemate took one look at this stylised piece, and with absolutely no prompting asked "Is that the Contra guy?" Excellent!

Very nice work. :) I like the larger caricatured head, and tiny body look here.

Y'know, I never played "Contra" personally. (I know, what kind of NES-gamer & Konami-fan, am I? lol) I've been wanting to give it a shot though. (Pun intended.)

*groooan* That's a terrible pun! :D

Thanks! I've always been better at drawing cartoony things, so the super deformed look covers up the fact I can't get proper human proportions right when doing poses. I'm working on it ;)

Yeah, I admit I can pretty much only draw cartoony stuff to. ^^;

I'm getting there with the faces and musculature and so on, but putting it all together? Still so much practice required!
